It sounded so easy in March of 2020; “everyone work from home until the threat of the virus passes.” Months later, our “new normal” has made a challenging situation exponentially more complex. Employees are not only working from home, but many have relocated as geographic proximity is no longer a requirement. Investigations, litigations and regulatory actions continue unabated.
Global entities are facing a reality involving remote life that necessitates a remote response and careful planning, not only for defensibility but compliance with privacy laws. Using relevant case histories from clients and calling on the unique experiences of CeDIV participants, we will discuss how corporations and law firms are adapting their strategies and tactics to meet a remote world now and for the foreseeable future.
