Within this workshop will discuss the Benchmarking Survey Results on Legal Hold & Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
We will further focus on the lessons learned from Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to respond to requests under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
CeDIV will undertake a Benchmarking Survey in September/October on Legal Hold & as well as on DSARs. Following the creation of our best practises work product on Cross Border Legal Holds, we will benchmark companies globally on implementation status of our defined best practices.
Further, the CCPA will come into effect in January 2020. Companies may be caught off guard by an increased number of DSARs. We will discuss lessons learned from handling European GDPR DSARs in respect of workflows, redaction requirements to protect the privacy of individuals named in the documents to be produced, and the use of supporting tools.
David Kessler advised multiple clients on the practical implementation of DSAR processes and tools both for GDPR and CCPA. He will be ready to address your questions as Jenny and I will be to have a lively discussion.
